Clipped with JustTheRecipe — just the recipe, nothing else.
Recipe pages bury the actual recipe under a life story, twelve pop-ups and an autoplaying video. Paste the page's HTML here and get back one clean card: ingredients, steps, times. That is the whole product.
On the recipe page press Ctrl+U (Mac: Cmd+Option+U), select all, copy, paste here. Everything runs in your browser — the HTML never leaves your device.
Open the recipe page, press Ctrl+U (Cmd+Option+U on a Mac) to view its source, select all, copy, and paste it into the box above. Most recipe sites embed a machine-readable copy of the recipe (schema.org data) in that source — that is what we read.
Browsers block websites from reading other websites' pages (that rule is called CORS, and it protects you). Reading a URL anyway needs a small fetch proxy on our side. That proxy is the one piece not deployed yet, so URL import is marked as 'activates when the proxy ships' — we will not pretend it works before it does. Pasting the HTML works today because your browser already has the page.
No. Extraction runs entirely in your browser, on your device. Nothing you paste is uploaded or saved. See the Privacy Policy for the analytics that applies to the site itself.
If a page carries schema.org recipe data we extract it exactly. Pages without it fall back to heading and list detection, which works on simpler pages. If neither is present, we tell you we could not find a recipe instead of guessing.
